Likeminded organisations we collaborate with

SaveCapel is a similar organisation set up to avoid the disproportionate  creation of 4,000+ new houses as a continuous conurbation between Tonbridge and Paddock Wood. The Tunbridge Wells Borough Council plan to build on our GREEN BELT and Flood Plains – also on and adjacent to the High Weald Area of Natural Beauty (AONB). We both wish to protect the Green Belt.

Keep Kent Green is an organisation addressing the issues arising from the re-opening and development of Gravel Pits in their local neighbourhood which is the adjacent village to Capel. They would love to hear from you.

Capel Parish Council is very supportive of our Aims and Objectives. They are the leading organisation in developing a Vision for Capel and Neighbourhood Plan.

CGPS works with Capel Path Rangers to provide funds for equipment and training to keep our Green Belt paths open and walkable – free from brambles and well signposted. Their Chair is Mr Robert Assirati – 01892 836609

The London Green Belt Council brings together over 100 organisations including councils, residents & environmental groups with a shared concern for London’s Green Belt. The Council meets three times a year in Parliament. There is an executive committee which meets more frequently. They also provide the secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group for London’s Green Belt.

The CPRE (Campaign for the Protection of Rural England) has been established a long time supporting Aims and Objectives very similar to our own.
