CGPS is keen to support organisations within Capel Parish that promote use of the Greenbelt. One such organisation is Capel Path Rangers.
Capel Path Rangers comprise a small group of volunteers who live within Capel Parish and regularly monitor and walk the public footpaths with the aim of; keeping them accessible, free of brambles and other obstructions in addition to ensuring they are well signposted. The group are also responsible for producing the pack of walks “Twelve Walks around Capel” which are available to purchase from St. Thomas à Becket Church, Capel or by email to info@capelpathrangers.org
A hedge pole cutter has been purchased recently by CGPS for Capel Path Rangers and CGPS pays for the insurance each year for this voluntary organisation.
