Five Oak Green Brownies have been working hard in the raised garden bed in the corner of the Recreation Ground. Following the donation of CGPS funds last year, the Brownies have been enjoying the good weather and developing this corner of the Recreation Ground into a beautiful flower bed for all to see and enjoy, as well as it being a haven for insects and wildlife. Brown Owl Wendy Ellis says “The Brownies have planted out new geraniums. They have used the gardening gloves, trowels and watering cans bought last year with the funds from CGPS. We are grateful for the donation of the funds to continue this fun and beneficial activity. New plants are also planned to be planted later on in the summer”.
