Capel Greenbelt Society had a strong presence at this year’s Capel Fete alongside our partners Save Capel. A “Hidden Hamper” competition was held with a large map of the Parish divided into squares with the prize of a beautiful hamper of local produce including Mr Ames Tea, Cake and local apple juice. Trustees from the charity and members of the save Capel Executive were on hand to answer questions from visitors to the stall and highlight the plight of the Parish and the Greenbelt should large housing developments take place.
